Allow time to heal you and how you’re feeling. Think about it… if that person doesn’t want to be in your life anymore, why would you want to force someone into something that they don’t want to do anymore?
Knowing that you still like them, always remember that you can still LOVE someone deeply and acknowledge the fact that, that person simply decided to move on so you must too. Time will allow you to still feel appreciation for that person, yet let them go.
This will help you and your emotional well-being.
As time passes, it starts becoming easier to forgive and forget. To have the memory of the person and be okay with that. You moved on too because you are a person of great value and you respect and love yourself so much that you decided to let go of the partner that left.
You are stronger than you realize and you’ll see with time that it will all start feeling better. Your heart will feel better and better and from an outside perspective you’ll have the memory, but the emotions attached to the person will be neutral… all if you just distance yourself from that person and realize that you are incredibly powerful, strong and valuable and you deserve to be with someone who loves you very very much and who wants to spend time with you too.
